OT: Inge's Knees
Brandon Inge is having surgery on both of his knees.

I knew they were a problem, but I didn't think it was this bad. It certainly explains his second half.

I don't think anyone ever questioned this guy's mental toughness given all of the trials he faced just to land a starting spot in the lineup, but his ability to play through physical pain this year was epic. I wish him nothing but the best, and I hope to see him rejuvenated in 2010. It would be great if he cut down his swing a little bit, but he is a great leader and defensive player. Get well soon!

And I know he has done great things in the community, but a leader doesn't bitch about changing positions then hit 220.

Jake Taylor on the point-to-the-stands-then-bunt-play at the end of Major League. Hopefully this will not carry over to next season.

The damage is probably in part, from having to play catcher starting around age 30....
