OT: I'm high on schaudenfeude right now watching the Capital One bowl

Sparty isn't just losing to 'Bama, but they're losing in true Sparty-like fashion.

Can anyone remember the last time a top 10 team got embarassed so badly in January?

... is 0-3 so far today, with two losses to the SEC. After a 2-0 start, this isn't how I imagined bowl season going for the conference.

if maybe we weren't down 52-14. Unlike Spartan fans, I can't make myself feel better about my team losing by seeing someone else lose. It just shouldn't work like that.

Michigan fans knew this game could be a blowout and that it would be tough to win.  MSU fans went in thinking their team was "underrated" and didn't deserve to have to play a three-loss team in the Crap-it-all One Bowl.  They proved that they were overrated and didn't deserve to play a three-loss team in the COB. 

Better yet, yesterday Saint Dantonio pronounced today's game as one that will tell whether MSU truly an elite team or not; they answered the "question" quite convincingly.  It's always great when a Sparty coach's words come back to haunt MSU as a program-defining moment. 

The truckstop diners in EL should be full today; it's SOS for Sparty.
