OT: Happy 62nd Birthday Terry Foster!
I just read and wanted to share a tweet along with the linked column written by local sportswriter Terry Foster, who has fought back from a stroke he suffered a few years back.
Foster took the time on his birthday to share his ordeal and some very heartfelt health advice.
Take good care of yourselves, fellow MGoBoard members. Good health is a gift that must be given proper maintenance; if neglected too long it can soon disappear.

Here's the actual blog post itself, for those who want to avoid the general twitterverse:

I always enjoyed his commentary on the ticket, despite being cast as Valenti's whipping boy most of the time.

Glad he made it.
Here is another reminder about heart attacks:

He's definitely correct - these days are not promised to you. I've had two scares of my own, both of which could easily have been fatal and the second spurring on significant lifestyle changes (including dealing very quickly with addiction), to teach me this lesson.

WOW. I cannot believe he's 62. He looks great!
I miss him like crazy on the radio. He made the show perfect with Valenti. It was really sad after he came back from his stroke; you could just tell he was not able to keep up with the nature of the show.
Otherwise, he was a great counter balance for Mike.

My brother and I had lunch with Terry Foster and his son (he was probably 5-6) at the Super Bowl in Detroit .We started talking Pistons basketball and he asked us to join him for lunch. We had to stand to eat inside Ford Field .It was a great exp .
