OT: Gus Johnson on Madden '11
I know NCAA football is the clear favorite to everyone here, but this might sway someone to buy Madden to hear a trademark Gus Johnson cackle.
This is like the best news I've heard in two weeks.
Seems pretty sweet but NCaa football looks even better IMO .. also i can't beat down on everyone with the maize n' blue

I remember last year through DirecTV all customers received week 1 of the NFL package for free. I chose to mainly watch the Gus Johnson game.
Whatever they are paying him - he's underpaid.
That problem being Cris Collinsworth. Somehow, he's worse than Madden was.

Collinsworth is one of the best guys in the football booth right now. He knows what he's talking about, speaks clearly, and keeps a light mood.
If you think he sucks in Madden, well that's on the Madden producers IME. He's just reading lines.
I dislike Collinsworth in madden, I still hear him saying aaaaayyyyyynnnnnnzone in my sleep.
Just in the game. And yes you are correct that part of that is the guys at EA. For some reason it sees like every dumb thing the announcers say in that game comes from Cris. However, Cris is agreeing to say the lines, so that part is on him.
