Shouldn't the logo be some little sad eyed four week old kitten?

What was that he sounds like a cat? That just ruined my perception of Pat 'the cat' White.
"The team's Honolulu blue, white and black colors remain unchanged."
The Lions may suck, but there is alot of tradition around them and this community. I can't believe how much they are fucking things up by needlessly changing a classic logo and completely getting rid of the colors most of us grew up watching - Honolulu Blue and silver
The Pistons dropping their red, white and blue uniforms for those teal, black and burgundy monstrosities = "completely getting rid of the colors."
The Lions adding a bit of black to their color scheme = a much smaller deal. Besides, I doubt they actually dropped silver; I think the AP writer just screwed up.
So hey, the XFL is back, and the Lions are the first team to migrate there from the NFL by the looks of things.
Fry made a number of cosmetic changes when he came to Iowa in 1979. The one that sticks out for me was changing the Iowa uniform to more closely match that of the then-dominant Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, there was that pink visiting locker room thing, too.

More importantly, Fry got the Iowa program back on its feet and demonstrated that Iowa could lose Rose Bowls as well or better than Michigan and Ohio State.
Does this mean anything for the Lions? Eh, I doubt it. We'll see. (Although I expect the Lions to win the Super Bowl the year after Ford sells the team and it gets moved to someplace without a football team, like Cincinnati.)
