OT: Dylan Larkin saves the Wings a point, gets a Jomboy breakdown

SIAP. If you haven’t seen this yet, former Wolverine Dylan Larkin and Red Wings captain saved a point a little over a week ago with an extra effort play to save a goal on an empty net. Detroit scored shortly thereafter to force overtime against the Kings. Today Jomboy posted a breakdown of the play and the result of it. Interesting to see him do a hockey breakdown, especially in October! Great exposure for our man Larkin, and well deserved for his leadership and effort.

Great effort by Larkin - probably a career highlight reel play. But I've never been able to enjoy a Jomboy breakdown. They seem so...sophomoric, in that they sound like a high school sophomore trying to be a badass.

Great effort by Larkin to get them a point.  Wings have impressed me thus far with how coherent they are on both ends of the ice compared to the past couple of years.  Still growing pains ahead but they look to be moving up from the dregs they were in recently.

Not sure if serious or not, but press the link and you will go to a Jomboy breakdown of the play.  He creates content where he breaks down weird plays (mainly a baseball guy), but does weird plays in almost all sports.  His break downs are funny, as he will "read" the players or managers/ coaches / refs/ umps lips when they are speaking / yelling and talk about what they are thinking.

A lot of humor to the posts, while also being very informative.  I'm not a big baseball fan, but love his breakdowns.
