OT-Cyber Monday deals

Go ahead and post them in here - open forum. I'll throw this one in here: Restaurant.com Sale: 80-90% off Gift Cards $10 GC for only $0.80, $25 GC for only $2 Use coupon code "SAVE" (without quotes) to take 80-90% off your order total. Just bought $50 worth of gift certificates for $5 (fyi: with Restaurant.com Gift Certs you have to buy a meal worth twice the amount. meal has to be over $50 to use a $25 card, etc.)

Just as a warning, those Restaurant.com gift cards come with a caveat in small print: You have to spend a certain amount (usually more than the value of the card when you use them. As an example, to use a $50 gift card, you have to spend something like $60 on your bill (that might not be exact, but you get the idea). It's definitely a good deal, but I just wanted people to be aware. I gave a few of those as gifts a couple years ago without realizing that the recipients would still have to spend a few bucks of their own.

If you're in the market for an HDTV, Best Buy, Sony Style and Amazon have a couple deals going on offering a free PS3 or blueray player with purchase. I watched the Wisconsin game at a friend's house on one of these 46" Samsung and while not a terribly good game, it was one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. Except when Bret Bielemas' head game on the TV and it was three feet high - yikes! Anyhow, some of these deals are better than others, particularly with the Sony. I've read reviews (c-net) that rate the W series the same as the XBR, so buyer beware: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?cata… http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_86218471_4?tag=slick… http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat197700050041&type=cate…

Black Friday deals were much better. Walmart had a decent laptop on sale for $200, and newegg had a 60in 1080p LG Plasma that shipped for $1500(no taxes). I will never, ever forgive my wife for preventing me from ordering it.
