OT: Biogenesis' Anthony Bosch surrenders to DEA

Submitted by Leaders And Best on

I usually don't like posting OT, but I think this story has the potential to get interesting. Biogenesis' Anthony Bosch has surrendered to the DEA, and ESPN has reported he will cooperate with prosecution and plans to plead guilty.

Athletes are not the focus of the federal investigation, but more MLB players will be named along with possibly players from other sports. The original MLB investigation had other names on their Biogenesis list but did not have sufficient evidence at the time to suspend them.

It'll be interesting to see who is on it.  I hope nobody I root for, but there is always that possibility.

Doping is doubtlessly widespread--the fact that it often takes warranted legal investigations to discover transgressions should tell us something.
