I wanted to let everyone know that the Washtenaw Blue Junior Wolverines currently have open enrollment for football and cheerleading.  There are spots open in each age group but, in particular, we are looking for 8 - 11 year old boys and girls.  Cost is $300 for football and there are scholarships available for families

Also, if your kids are off to a lazy start to summer like mine, we have free non-contact OTAs every Tuesday night through June and July (except July 2nd) from 6 - 7:30 pm at Pioneer High School at the upper field.  This is a great chance to check out the teams and meet the coaches while getting your kids some exercise on a beautiful Ann Arbor evening.

If you have a big gangly or lunky kid who is too uncoordinated for most ball sports, this is the one for them. The footwork and coordination come with time and practice, but in the meantime, they feel they are contributing to a team, while not feeling the pressure of needing to be good at catching, throwing or kicking.

Of course in Ann Arbor I don't know, maybe bulldozing isn't allowed, and tackles are really a tap on the shoulder and "pardon me, but you have been tackled"?
