We're already at the end of the first period in the Sweden-Finland game actually - a 0-0 deadlock at the moment. Sweden has taken 13 shots on goal to Finland's 10 - Alex Steen leads everyone on the ice with 4 of the 23 total shots taken.
It's too bad we're in storm prep right now and I am watching on a feed. I would much rather be at home enjoying a morning of hockey.

In the words of Gordon Bombay, "We're Team USA, and we're going all the way". Beat Canada!

It'll be the Red Wings vs. USA, if the Americans can beat Canada today. Just like watching Pavel score 2 against us for Russia...oh, the humanity!

Of course, the irony is that the majority of players on both teams live and work in the USA...

So nice of NBC to force us to pay up extra to root for our country.
February 21st, 2014 at 11:34 AM ^
Wait...there are still non-pay channels? Obviously I know there are, but do people actually make that distinction any more? I don't know anybody who cares if a game is on ESPN instead of ABC, for example.
