Ohio State recruiting... when is enough, enough?

If Ohio State already has 25 in their commit class, how can they continue to recruit Vladimir Emilien (as Brian reported "flippity floppin")? What designates a "full" commit class?

25 students that qualify for this and the past year, plus any other random guys you can cram in.  You probably weren't here for the Alabama blood orgy that took place 6 months ago.

When will the public's poor perceptions about OSU, and general "everyone's sick of hearing about OSU" qualities start to show up in their reruiting as top flight guys choose other schools? It seems lately OSU has its pick of top players and doesn't really fear competition, that needs to change ASAP.

As near as I can tell they don't have their "pick of top players".  They only have their pick of top players in Ohio, which, is good for them because Ohio is always loaded.  They do pick up guys here and there from out of Ohio, but they don't fair any better than Michigan does.

First, people may decommit.  Second, you can massage the numbers by having kids enroll in the winter (which allows you to allocate them to the previous class if you want).  Third, it is possible for someone to greyshirt (see George Morales).

If they do something like Alabama they deserve some heat but 26 is not a problem.
