No 2022 Gavitt Game for Michigan Hoops

2022 Gavitt Games announced yesterday:

Michigan not one of the participating teams this season.  Would have likely been an away game (since home last year).  Makes the 2023-24 non-conference season potentially dangerous though - likely away game in Big Ten/ACC matchup, already scheduled to play at Kentucky, and if they also get an away game in the Gavitt Games - yikes.

It's kind of weirdly worded in the OP, but you're both saying the same thing. 22-23 like you mention is being played in London. The OP, if I'm reading it correctly, is talking about 23-24 schedule and Michigan visits Lexington that following season.  That 23-24 game at Rupp, is currently the only game listed on the UK Official Basketball site.

I don’t think UM will have anything to worry about when that time comes. UK will probably be in rebuild mode after the debacle this year. Cal has one year left.
