Saw this non-paywalled interview with freshman center Tarris Reed. Seems like a smart, hard-working, and very talented kid. Really looking forward to seeing him on the court and his development into another great big man for the maize and blue.

Has a good shot at being the best Tarris to don the Maize & Blue in Ann Arbor.
As far as comparisons go, he’s a lot taller than Gerry Mulligan or Pepper Adams, with better hops. Love his interview and his willingness to see himself as a “big brute” in the B1G. Blow your horn, kid.

Following David Goggins for inspiration is a good sign. That guy has a ridiculous work ethic and if even a part of that transfers to Tarris then we have a future leader in the making.
