New in-state offer: 2020 TE/DE Braiden McGregor
Michigan offered 2020 Port Huron (MI) Northern TE/DE/OLB Braiden McGregor on his visit this weekend. This offer comes on the heels of him being offered by Notre Dame and Purdue, along with some other schools. McGregor is 6'5", 225 lbs. and could play on either side of the ball.
247 Sports has him as a 3-star, but he's the #11 SDE and #263 overall, so he would be a 4-star if he remained ranked that highly.
He said to expect him to end up much higher in the rankings. Let’s hope we get him.
Yeah, I'm surprised he's not a little higher in the rankings. He's a very good athlete with a lot of room to grow.
The young man is extremely diverse and when you threw lber into the mix, it's pretty obvious the lad can run and is probably naturally strong, country strong as we call it. Give him a year or two in the weight room - prior to getting here - add in a year under the professional trainers and this young man could be exceptional as to the strength and speed aspect. These are the type WI have made a living off the past decade.
from the Highlands
In that case, it would be even less surprising that his family found their way to Port Huron as James VI (among others in Scotland) made certain that the Highlands themselves were ....oh...... unkind to the MacGregors.
I shall have a Rob Roy in his honor
Think the last PHN player at UM was Brad Bates aside from a few guys who tried to walk on.
Which class?
Knew a guy from PHN at Michigan named Joe Beauchamp.
how they find these kids. I live in PH and the competition around here isn’t that great. Kid looks like he can play though. Good for him! Always nice to have a local kid get an opportunity like this.

will boost him in the star rankings.
