New Adidas Techfit Jerseys: When?
Does anyone have any inside info on when the new techfit jerseys are supposed to be debuted? There is only one more opportunity at home and I was wondering if they (Adidas) was even producing any away techfit jerseys. Im guess I am just overly anxious to see us bust out something better than the JV baggy jerseys we rock right now...

These Nike jerseys had a much more discreet logo -- it was way more old-school and more attractive. Please, DB or whoever is in charge of such things, SHRINK THE CRASS LOGO.

Adidas needs to get out of football, for some reason they just can't produce good uniforms. They obviously made a campaign out of these new jerseys, and then they're so bad a team refuses to wear them. And on top of that they emphasize their logo way too much. Nike's the way to go, the jerseys fit, and the recruits like the brand.

Does this picture illustrate that nike makes players better (long, henne, and hart are in the NFL). Or maybe I'm just saying that because I miss the ol' nike uniforms.

Block lettering for the names, stitched numbering and lettering (instead of silk-screened), and a tiny Nike logo. Adidas, DB, are you listening? Even the road uniforms were better. Yes they had weird maize piping going around the waist, but it was much more discreet than the current wavy Adidas nonsense.

Our game jerseys aren't silkscreened now, and I can't recall a time in recent history that they were...

I miss those three guys.

they dont have a current low top that has velcro. Denards wearing shoes from last year. That alone should be reason to switch back to nike.

Denard actually got an upgrade with shoes post UConn.
I don't mind Adidas -- their shoes (Scorch) are one of the best on the market right now with a bunch of NFL players wearing them. I also like Nike -- but Under Armour is by far my favorite brand of the 4 major brands. I just can't see us ever going to Under Armour -- seems to be too gimicky/new age for a tradition rich program.

i dont like adidas at all. Uncomfotable, Not very trendy and all the shoes look alike. Where nike can make a good looking shoe and the swoosh would be very discreet, On Adidas shoes all you see is the 3 stripes. Plus it would be pretty sweet to see some maize shoes, instead of the plain black.

you stated:

I would hope that lightning would hit my home before maize shoes would be introduced.

nike makes some of the worst shoes you can buy. if you run, there are far better brands like brooks. for foootball, UA makes better cleats. i don't get why people are hopelessly in love with nike.

Hagerup wears an Adidas shoe with maize in it, and I believe Gibbons does too.
