Never Forget (The Banner Incident)
Jack Harbaugh was a coach on the 1973 Wolverines team.
His son is our coach now.
Coincidence? I think not.
TIME FOR REVENGE!

CJK5H, allegedly.

OK, now I am intrigued. I am curious to see where you believe the banner fits into the alleged incident allegedly involving Craig James and five hookers. I am assuming this is going in the direction of it being used either as a mat to avoid spillage on a floor or as a wrap for the deceased, but I find your take interesting.

Washingston St. is 8-3 and ranked 20th in CFP rankings. I hadn't realized the success they were having.
Mike Leach really is a good coach.

He sounds a bit like Bob Knight - not just in language, but accent as well.
He's just an interesting fellow - and a darn good coach.

Wait....people are publicly talking about Craig James kililng five hookers? I always though Craig James killing five hookers was a secret thing. The more you know, allegedly.

You're talking about revenge for Michigan, and the youtube you're linking was put up by a Buckeye.

Egregious oversight on my part. Please forgive my sin.

I would see a quilt with a bunch of former defensive backs on it.

Watching Tiebreaker again last night on BTN made me hate those damn buckeyes even more! Those sob's sitting around that dinner table with that smug look on their faces. Would have loved to see ol Dave Gallagher go ballistic at the dinner table during the documentary!! I'm glad that Bo never let that grudge go against those schools who voted against Michigan to go to the Rose Bowl!!

I'm surprised 1977 doesn't get more love. Former players out there throwing shoulders and haymakers to protect the banner.

OMG! Never saw that before - just awesome!

I know it was mentioned above but NEVER FORGET

What is the thought process behind letting the opponent run under the banner? Why wouldn't they jump up to tear it down? WTF?
November 25th, 2015 at 11:57 AM ^
The opponent was not supposed to run under the banner; the opponent was supposed to come out of the tunnel and stand on their sideline (which is the same side of the field as the tunnel). There was no reason for them to get anywhere near midfield, and certainly not anywhere near the banner.
The field was set up the same as it is today. The only change is that now by rule the home team comes out before the visiting team.
