NCAA recommends against sporting events open to the public
Looks like this is the first step towards the NCAA tournament being played in empty arenas
And now it's official: No fans for the NCAA tournament
This is gonna be a memorable NCAA tournament. We are gonna hear Izzo berating his players clearly over the audio. We will hear plays being called out, communication between players. In a weird way, it will be pretty cool. And all in the name of public health
Now, if they could just not have any announcers
And there it is. At least now we don't have any of that top-seeds-play-in-front-of-virtual-home-crowd bullshit. Neutral sites will actually be neutral sites.
The networks should mic up college bars in the teams' hometowns and pump that audio in during the games to at least give a little flavor to the broadcasts.
Going to be fun watching the NCAA members defending flying students all over the country to sell commercials after they shut down their campuses for health and safety concerns. Will erase all doubt about what makes them tick.
