They were released either today or yesterday.
I really appreciate it.
Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 rosters are NOW available:
Playstation 3, Download them from the following ID:
buckeye02
Xbox 360, Download them from the following Gamertag:
Lanteri87
for the PS3, once I download buckeye02 from the EA Locker, how do I "install" the roster? Is there a place to do this?
I'm asking because buckeye02 doesn't seem to have names, so maybe I'm not installing the downloaded file? Please help! Thanks.
You have to go load the rosters from the main menu. I think its My NCAA - Load and Delete - Hold the bottom left button idk what it's called for PS3 - and load your rosters. The names should then appear.
You made my Sunday! I went to the part where you could load/ save profiles, but didn't notice to push L2 to load roster files (you can see I don't game much).
RomanCaesar doesn't have nearly all the teams done, but his Michigan roster is 10x better than lanteri87's. He added Jeremy Gallon and switched positions to the current depth chart. The only mistake I found was Brandon Smith still at SS when he is an OLB right now.
I'm going to put Brandon Smith at OLB in place of Evans on the depth chart.
Is the ID you type in "RomanCaesar" or something different? Thanks.
No, I do not know why his roster is not downloading. I downloaded it a couple days ago and recently tried to download again to see if there was an update. I will upload it to my locker B Edwards 17 (360) for everyone.
The roster I found made Vincent Smith into Jermey Gallon and made him a WR. It also missed a few players like Shav Beaver had a different name and Andrew Hawken from MSU. Those are the ones I noticed I'm sure there's more.
for complete PS3 rosters download from PSN ID: buckeye02.

For 360 - Quetzalmantzin
He's using Lanteri87's, but he will update his when better one's come out. He says "EPICBBQ" is working on one that will not only name players, but makes the rosters and depth charts more accurate.
For PS3 - pastapadre
This guy did 360's last year and I used it. It was great. I'm actually going to look his name up on the 360 just in case he did both.

I read on another forum that like 2 hours after lanteri87's rosters came out, sellers on ebay magically "just" finished the rosters and were selling them....pathetic
damn it....i just downloaded the lanteri87 roster (xbox 360), went to my ncaa ----> file manager ---->loaded it and saved it. i went to practice and it had the names....
i turned it off and then later went back to play....upon the opening screen it said it was loading the lanteri87 roster...im thinking yes finally im getting it to work, i went to play a exibition game and they arent there. practice nope, nothing, reloaded it and saved it...nothing

Never Understoood the fascination with the roster names. If you play Dynasty mode you have all new players after a couple of seasons. If you really want to be the players well I know the #5 is Tate. Must really be a market for it as there are multiple sites with download and people are trying to sell them I just don't understand. Oh well I'll put this right next to Twitter and pants that hang so low you have to hold onto them when you walk as things I'm just not hip enough to get with.
Names make the game feel complete and when you download the rosters it fixes a lot of the mistakes
Whats better, #5 pass to #22 for a td, or Tate Forcier pass to darryl stonum for a touchdown.
I like having everyone named in my dynasty, so i can see my recruited players mix in with and eventually take over for the current players.
And names are good for online play
You can export your draft classes from NCAA to Madden.
I always like to export the 4 years of named players from the Dynasty I play in NCAA to Madden, and then draft UM players over 4 years of a Lions franchise.
Silly, sure, but that's one reason that I like having the names in the game.
Lanteri87's roster does have some depth chart issues, but you can't expect perfection when fall camp hasn't yet begun. It is the best NCAA-wide roster currently available for the 360; however, I've made some minor Michigan-related tweaks...
1. Added Gallon, Toussaint & Witty, but to clear roster space I got rid of Troy Anderson(?) and Mike Cox (oh well, gotta make room for the future).
2. Moved Brandon Smith to LOLB, but left Woolfolk at CB to preserve some depth.
3. Changed the kicker Schrimscher to Gibbons and bumped the stats.
With jersey numbers for some of these frosh I'm just guessing, but if you'd like to dl an updated version, my gamertag is "DC Rizz".
Tony Anderson is his name, I think. Has it been easier for you guys to do 3-4 or 3-3-5 stack? I don't know which one will utilize Stevie Brown better, but I think I'll go with the 3-4.
If you're trying to use him as the "deathbacker" it makes the most sense to switch him to an OLB and use the 3-4.
Nice job. I downloaded your roster. Better than Lanteri87's for Michigan.
Thanks for the roster information guys. I've spent the last three hours editing rosters. Good times. The game itself is pretty fun, but I'll need to get used to it.
Ever thought of doing a MGoBlog online dynasty?
