Since their season is a bust anyway, this would be a great opportunity for Sparty to boost their PR. Cost/benefit, anyone? Do they teach that at MAC?

Wasn't that quote given right after the game before he had a chance to watch the replay of the hit and know EXACTLY what happened? Give the guy some time. He may just do something bigger than that.

It's really odd - what do they really have to lose by saying that both are benched for the remainder of the season? They're in last place, and have little shot to climb out - there is literally nothing to lose. You could argue that more losses would make Comley lose his job, but most fans would rather root for a bad team than an embarassing, evil one.
