More Spike
As I drink more, and watch the gifs, I realize just how much I will miss Spike. Watching those passes and those incredible efforts to maintain or get possession of the ball, and scoring from impossible places, I cannot help but mourn the passage of a true joy. We are truly blessed to have had Spike in the fold. I look forward to hearing of his success in whatever his field of choice. He will be missed.

and play again elsewhere (since he's eligible for a medical redshirt).
That this decision was announced/implemented with Spike having played in 9 games (28% of the 32 game minimum season) and not 10 (31% of the season) is likely an indicator that he is at least considering playing elsewhere for another year.
Or perhaps it will turn out that his hips have had enough of the grueling college basketball season (for those w/ his condition).
