More NFTC Video Interviews/Highlights of Michigan Commits

Submitted by RakeFight on

For those of us who cannot get enough recruiting, several free videos from the Columbus NFTC were posted today on ESPN today.  The format is pre-camp interviews with camp highlights edited in.  The highlight of Dawson stoning Billy Price (ohio) in pass protection while ripping his shirt is quite satisfying.

Mike McCray: http://search.espn.go.com/s/overlay/videoOverlay?searchString=nftc&id=7904106&dims=6&start=0

LTT: http://search.espn.go.com/s/overlay/videoOverlay?searchString=nftc&id=7904093&dims=6&start=0

They seem to be gradually posting these videos from the NFTC, so hopefully there will be more (like Taco Charlton).

That video does a good job showing the validity to some of the criticism of LTT.  He moves really well for his size, but he's letting people get past him who shouldn't due to poor technique.   I know he's also injured, but he clearly needs some work before he can start.

as much as i love LTT, he really needs to work on his technique and hit the weight room.

im sure he can get it done in couple of years once he hits the campus. his attitude and work ethic are incredible i hear.

LOVE the clip during Tom's interview with all four Opening invites where Taco puts the defender right on his ass. He has an incredible burst of speed off the ball.

For all the recent scuttlebut about Dawson entertaining Florida's overtures, he sure seemed committed to UofM. Recruiting other players and building in with the other 2013 recruits, which is great to see b/c I certainly don't want to lose him. He looks like a complete stud at guard!

I agree LTT didn't look good in those clips, but the coaches see something in him and I think once he's on campus gets in the S&C program and has Coach Funk working on his technique, he's going to be an absolute monster.  The kid has a great attitude and good work ethic.  Keep in mind folks, Tom Brady was taken in the 6th round, based on what people saw.  There's more to a football player than what the tape shows, just ask Jordan Kovacs.  Also does anyone else think Taco Charlton will wind up a 5* before national signing day.  He's been killing it at the camps.
