Molk Tipping off the Snap - did anyone else notice this yesterday?
Hello all,
A great win yesterday - it's been too long! Did anyone else notice that Molk snaps the ball immediately after he pulls his head? He did this every time yesterday for the first 2.5 quarters. It looked like he corrected it a bit midway through the second half. I just noticed this yesterday - has he been doing this all year? I know Brian talked about MSU jumping and timing our snap count - I wonder if this was their key?

But he pulled them offsides a couple of times by doing it, and protection didn't seem to be a problem...so maybe it was intended.

Fortunately Jerry Van Dyke was in the hospital and couldn't alert coach Brewster in time.

I noticed it, too. But it didn't seem to factor in much. Like maracle said, whenever they looked like they had it timed, they were too eager and jumped offsides. But it would probably would be a good idea for Molk to switch it up every once in a while.
