I'd like to be a tad more liberally in his substitutions earlier in the game. Give guys a rest early and maybe they'll be fresh later in the game. He already seems allergic to 2nd half substitutions, so get it done early and maybe the late game execution can get a bit better.

Yeah, I don't think it would have hurt to leave Baker out there a few more minutes. If he got 3 fouls it really wouldn't have much impact. Coach barely subs in the 2nd half.

The last few minutes has been infuriating. What the fuck was that shot? A 30-footer with 20 seconds on the shot clock? Nobody gets back on defense? They lost their 12-point lead in a few minutes squarely due to sloppy play.

Observation question - northwestern and Iowa seems to scheme open three’s at will while our rarely get our shooters the same. Is that our scheme or our lack of defense?

The team lost its rhythm when Coach Howard subbed out 3 starters at once around the 14:00 mark. Coach, stagger those subs like the other coaches - one before the under 16, one at the under 16, one after the under 16.

All of this team’s games mimic an NBA game. Good stretches, followed by crap lineups that let the other team back in it. Then everything devolves into isolation basketball. They’re also plagued by poor fundamentals and lackluster effort on defense.

Hunter's offensive game is completely downloaded by opposing coaches. He can barely get shots up.
