The Hoosier men's soccer program has been pretty dominant in our lifetime.  In fact, I would compare them to our softball program, in that they set the standard for midwestern programs in their respective sport.  They do have us beat in national championships though, with 4 in the last 13 years.

you know nothing of which you speak. There are several of the softball players that are hotter than your girlfriend. But its not about that anyway. These young ladies bust their ass everyday to improve and represent. They do a great job and could possibly win a NC this year.

Always gotta be somebody who just can't resist being an ass.  Here's to hoping he has three daughters, and they all end up being softball players.  On second thought, here's to hoping he doesn't have kids at all - for the kids' sake.

UM softball is one of the teams you can count on at Michigan, year after year.  To be that successful in a sport that is dominated by warm weather schools is incredible.  Keep it up!

It is all about pitching.

Indiana has a great pitcher - new to the team (a transfer).  Pitchers dominate softball teams more than baseball as the same good pitcher can pitch both ends of a double-header.  Many times the stud baseball pitcher leaves the game in the 7th with his team winning and the reliever(s) blow the game for him.  And, he won't pitch again for 4-5 days.

Indiana's new pitcher is an Indiana native and came back home for her senior year. Not so sure how Indiana will fare next year, unless all the younger pitchers are picking up pointers from her.
