Michigan Player Comparison Thread

This is just something for fun. I don't think that veryone will have a career like the guy they get compared to (obviously). I just think that the playing styles, size, etc. are similiar. Obviously I didn't list everyone. I just couldn't think of good comparisons for alot of guys. I didn't list any of the guys we haven't seen yet. I also didn't attempt guys like Will Campbell. I don't think I've seen enough to make even an attempt at an accurate comparison. If anyone would like to attempt any of those guys, feel free. Also feel free to post your own. This thread is only designed to start up some discussion. Most of the comparisons are to former Michigan players, but that's pretty much because those are the guys I know the best. The only long explanations are on guys I think might need a little. Tate Forcier-Chase Daniel (Missouri, 2005-2008) Similiar height. Daniel was a little bigger as a senior (210 lbs), and maybe a little faster. Both guys are better passers than runners, but can run if they need to. Both good scramblers, and accurate passers. If Tate can learn some patience and get a bit calmer in the pocket, this comparison should be fairly accurate. Denard Robinson-Antonio Bass I know Antonio never actually played QB for us, but this comparison just seems too perfect. Mike Shaw-Carlos Brown (hopefully without the injuries) Brown was definately thicker, but great speed, some wiggle, good receivers. Not great blockers, questionable vision, and goes down on first contact way too often. Mike Cox-Brandon Minor (hopefully without the injuries) Vincent Smith-Garrett Wolfe (Northern Illinois, 2003-2006) Small, shifty guys that can run with a little power, but aren't very fast. David Molk-smaller David Baas Craig Roh-Jared Allen (Idaho State, 2000-2003) Seriously.
