Michigan-Illinois highlights (WH style)

A little under 22 minutes long.

The 4th 100-yard RB rushing duo in the Harbaugh era after having just 5 from 2000-2014.

Go Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ambry jumped too early on their first touchdown drive. He picks that pass and we go into halftime up 28-0. Gotta take advantage of those opportunities especially if we are going to fumble the ball on every third drive.

Great stuff as always; thank you.
Watching again it’s not nearly as bad as it felt. Yes, we farted around for 15 minutes but for the rest of the game we made it look easy, which we really hadn’t done to this level (even against Rutgers).
There is hope for next week. Not expectation, but hope.
It’s worth remembering that the guys who made the big plays for Illinois were mostly  highly rated transfers. They have some athletes.

Not exactly - they give us a 21% chance to win the game.  But that is a garbage line based on a PSU strength of schedule that sucks.  Look at the  comparable Iowa games - these teams are virtually the same.  Home field advantage in the white-out is a challenge but we have done it before with a lesser team.  Strap the pads on and let's find out.  Go Blue !!!

A couple things that stood out to me after watching this:

1. It seems like we incorporated more elements of last year's rushing offense. I wonder if Harbaugh assigned Warinner to mentor Gattis a bit since he's struggling so much in his first outing as an OC and playcaller.

2. The offense moved the ball very effectively. I looked back at the drive chart and only saw two punts. Fumbles are killing us.

I could not watch the live game but people are freaking out over nothing.  This game was over in the first half and Illinois was allowed back into the game with sloppy shit.  But when it mattered Shea was freaking outstanding and the defense also responded.  Have faith that this team gets it and adversity is not new.  Win the game.
