Meyers Family Media 🫡

The best Michigan videos out there. Their 2021 “We Did It” after beating OSU and “2% to #2” are masterpieces.

I actually contemplated emailing the company to ask if they planned for a 2023 video. This video encapsulates this whole season so well. Yes, you have to stomach 7-8 minutes of listening about signgate from the likes of Pete Finebaum and the human seed oil Mike Valenti. The video quality from the Penn St, OSU, Rose Bowl, and NCG is unparalleled. It truly is phenomenal.

I would like to know what it would take to make a 45 minute mini-documentary from Meyers highlighting the 2021-2023 run. Take my money!

That 2% to #2 was glorious.

All the shit talking from Finebaum, Valenti, and everyone else was strangely cathartic for me. Living out of state, and not really ever watching ESPN, I missed a lot of it. I was aware there were "personalities" talking; I watch Pat McAfee from time to time, and I listen to the Joel Klatt show...so I was aware, but I didn't hear a lot of it as it happened.
Having the benefit of knowing how the season turned out, and now listening to the cut up of everyone talking in this video...that sure put a smile on my face :)

That was fantastic.  A++.

The only thing I would have liked added were the interviews where all those assholes had to eat crow after Michigan kept winning.  Like when Finebaum said he'd never been more wrong about anything in his life, etc.  Maybe that's the next video?  Just a loop of those POS trying to downplay what they had previously said.

I can see everyone of these plays called by the announcer in my head.

The last 3 years have been spectacular.

Thank you Jim, staff and players.

40-3

What a run.

That was a very special video.  This season was one for the ages. One loss ant any point, and the entire narrative changes.  The jealous and bitter opponents did everything they could to undermine and eliminate our outstanding run.  When they couldn’t beat us on the field, they made an aggressive, concerted, and orchestrated media takedown.  They took away our coach, they (temporarily) took away our credibility, and there was only one way to take back the narrative…

Beat everybody, every time, and put the false narratives to bed by winning the whole thing.  This season will never be replicated any another college football program. It was one for the ages, and it was ours. We did it. I plan to treasure it for all of my days.

This is really good.

I've also been reveling in this by going back and reading some of the old column's. The nine year journey is really fascinating. Last night I reread the 2015 Utah game column. Well worth the time.

That was so well done.  The emotional roller coaster this past season was makes even more powerful.  I will forever root for Jim Harbaugh.  He will always be known as the coach who brought Michigan back to the top.  I am also thankful Sherrone Moore was able to be here for the last 3-4 years being mentored by Jim Harbaugh.  It may not be immediate, but Sherrone will keep this program as an elite one for many years.  Go Blue!

Great video - things that would’ve made it perfect:

- show the whole play all together. I feel like some critical plays spliced in were cut in a weird way where you don’t get the most satisfying parts

- transitions from the choppy replay to normal seemed odd

Yes these are the things I complain about in a national championship offseason, even with no head coach. Life’s not bad, eh

Great work! This video captures everything Team 144 went through to become the National Champions they are today. I admit, it brought back emotions and tears that I felt through the season in particular the OSU game with Zak getting injured and Corum getting that TD. This team meant a lot to the fans, their families and themselves. They stayed and became champions, Victors Valiant! GO Blue!

Great video, thanks for the post OP.

sorry to post here but certainly didn’t want a new thread. I know mgoblog will be (hopefully?) making a coffee table book. But did anyone here order the one from the Freep? I don’t like to support them but it looks like it could be really cool.
