Michigan Does Well in Florida

Submitted by jokenjin on
Rivals has released their updated Florida Top 100 and the news is pretty good - we've got five kids from that list, all in the top 73 (I believe Hawthorne is 73rd). Both Vincent Smith and Hawthorne make jumps into the Top 100 after neither were ranked in the pre-season top 100. Joining them are Gallon, Vlad and Mike Jones. That's great to see that our efforts in Florida are not going unnoticed. They even mention in the article that Michigan has the most amount of commits from Florida outside of the Florida schools. Hopefully next year will be even more bountiful. We've got a good start. GO BLUE!

"They even mention in the article that Michigan has the most amount of commits from Florida outside of the Florida schools." This quote from the OP doesn't suggest that Witty is in the top 100. It just says "most amount of commits from Florida."

Not one of our current Florida commits was offered by Florida, Florida State, or Miami. Denard Robinson would be the first (Florida and Miami offers). Right now, I don't think they're quaking.
