Michigan's Ondrej Styler springs upset to reach NCAA singles semifinal.
Michigan senior Ondrej Styler upset the nation’s top-ranked college tennis player to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA singles tournament.
I'm starting to get a good feeling like I had for the baseball team a couple of years ago.
Best of Luck Ondrej!!!
GO BLUE!!!
oooooops double post!!!
*double fault
Go, Ondrej! Go, Blue!
Hail to the Victor! Go Blue!
Go Blue!
Styler was ranked #8 in the last ITA rankings and was also the 8 seed.
He faces Arizona State's Murphy Cassone, who upset #3 Arthur Fery of Stanford. Cassone has an ITA rank of #42. I like Styler's chances.
The other side of the bracket has #9 Chris Rodesch (UVA) against #2 Ethan Quinn (UGA).
Looks like the singles matches start today at 11:30 AM ET and can be streamed on YouTube.
It's possible we see another Michigan-UGA playoff matchup.
GO BLUE!
You'd think he'd be happy about it.
Styler win his match today 1 and 2 to advance to the NCAA Championship Saturday. Hail!
