Please join our hosts for the evening, Seth Fisher of MGoBlog and New York Times best-selling author John U. Bacon, as we learn everything we need to know as die-hard University of Michigan football fans for the upcoming season. We will also be presenting the 2020 Ernest T. Sigler Awards to the top Chicago student athletes Lexi Funk (women's gymnastics) and Jordan Glasgow (football). All proceeds from the event will help to support the UMCGC’s local scholarship fund. Attendees will be given a link and discount code to purchase MGoBlog's Hail to the Victors 2020 Football Preview magazine

Since I figure Seth would be upset if I didn't post it, below are some pictures from last year's in person kickoff event, which also featured Brian, and Sigler Award winner Charles Mathews. Sorry Seth, I didn't grab any pictures of your powerpoint neck-sharpies.

As is only appropriate when a bunch of Michigan fans get together, this was a Basketball Alumni Answering Football Questions vs Football Alumni Answering Hoops Questions trivia game I wrote for them.

For example Basketball had to spell "Tshimanga Biakabutuka" and Football had to spell "Playoffs."

Also both teams had to name as many players to wear #1 for the other sport as possible, and with CM right in front of them the football guys missed Matthews.

UMCGC - Like everyone's going to know what that is.  Could have been the computer graphics club as far as I knew.

Time? - It would have been a good idea to let people know when it is.  October 14 at 6:00 Central time in case anyone wants to know.

I went through four different ideas for this year's presentation and finally settled on "Michigan quit the Big Ten it was y'all's fault Chicago."

(and South Park characters)
