Meta question - creating posts with tables, pictures etc on An I-pad

Submitted by blue in dc on July 21st, 2021 at 6:56 PM

Does anyone know of any tools to relatively easily create posts that include tables, headings etc. on an I-pad?   Key caveats - I have zero html experience (and my last foray into programing was a required fortran class in 1988). I am also not particularly interested in devoting any significant time to learning basic functionality (e.g. if I can’t make a simple table within the first hour, it is likely not worth the effort and I will just forgo charts).   Also, I am not interested in anything with any significant upfront or ongoing cost.

Any advice ranging from - you can’t learn how to do that in an hour or, anything like that is going to require a subscription fee to, here is a great free tool would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe creating the post in Google docs with the headings/tables/styles you want and copying it to a doc to html converter, then posting it using the source code option?

Edit: That didn't seem to work for me. My guess is that functionality isn't available to commenters/public as a security concern to avoid code getting executed. I believe this is a Drupal site and I know Drupal has more user permission control than other cms.

So I guess you could screenshot your charts/tables and use the insert media function.

Thanks.   The screenshot approach may be the way to go,    I have definitely seen user content before that was  much better formatted and am curious about the way it was done,    I very much appreciate you taking the question seriously and even going so far as testing out a potential approach.   Actually intrigued by the idea of summarizing the data in the post and potentially linking a google doc for anyone who wants to dig deeper.
