Yes, Michigan has cooled on him. Kentucky has made it a point to recruit Michigan and has become the third option if Michigan/Michigan St. aren't pushing hard for them.

Yeah definitely stopped recruiting him. As you pointed out, he is pegged for Kentucky, and also had a massive drop in the rankings. Seems like a guy that was overrated based on limited information.

an academic issue.

Do you know something or are you just assuming? Your negative mgopoints make me believe it’s the latter. If so, not cool.

You don't know me, and I don't know you, and you don't know who I know, so STFU. Let it all play out and see where the kid signs.

“Let it all play out and see where the kid signs.”
Follow your own advice.
I think ldevon1 posts as he does because he has acadmic problems.
In other words, you have no idea or you would have stated what you know definitively.
These are kids. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it can hurt to read stuff like that even on the internet.

"I think..." I'm betting you didn't before making that assumption.

Was looking at our target list last night and noticed this as well.
There are a bunch of other in-state prospects that we seem to be pushing harder for, maybe due to positional need. I’d really like to see us land Lance Dixon. We’re in great shape for Mazi Smith according to the crystal ballz
There are a lot of crystal balls on the instate list for MSU. If there was ever an opportunity to negatively recruit.........
If I was on the staff I would be doing in home visits and charming the Mothers of these young men!

I wonder if he will play safety at the next level. I can see him moving into one of those hybrid LB roles that some teams are using now.

He should be a HSP a la Don's Viper. That's what they were 'crootin him to play but they moved onto guys who are more fluid in coverage like Dixon.

Sounds like Michigan moved on.
