Would have made a better title to this thread. Defending National Champs also have to play a mid-major not likely to have a winning record in their conference in to overtime.

I dont see how Virginia was in the top 4 of BPI preseason to win the national championship. They have looked very mediocre this season.

UVa also lost to University of San Francisco last week. It’s possible they’re just not very good this year.

Wisconsin with the epic fail finish. Trice with a blocking foul when Carton was going nowhere up 1 with less than a second left. Carton hits the first and misses the second but Wisconsin doesn't block out properly and Marquette tips it in for the win.
