are why everyone should be not only be proud of the softball team but of UM in general. They were/are TREMENDOUS ambassadors of the the school and the sport.
Awesome season for the young ladies and I can not wait for next season to come!
Next season should be one for the ages. On another note, how in the world is MSU's softball coach still employed after finishing near the bottom of the big ten for like 6 years now?
That coach sounds fantastic. Keep employing her. They can bring back John L. Smith and Bobby Williams if they want....
Needless to say, these girls will all be hugely successful some day. I look forward to getting rich off stock purchases in whatever pizza company one of them becomes the CEO of.
Whoever she is (Monte? Sweet? SiLo?), she'll be parsecs better than the last Michigan grad to CEO a pizza company.
Between sprinkling cheese, doing the Whip/Nae Nae dance in the dugout, and quoting the comical YouTube star Coach Kent Murphy endlessly, we had a great deal of fun this season.
I've always thought that no matter how well you do, you can't stop having this - fun. This team neved did stop, what they did was phenomenal and next season will hopefully contain another fantastic run. Very excited to see where it goes from here, and it is already great.
and that is certainly a big part of what made Team 38 so endearing to their fanbase.
I wanted them to win it all for Michigan and all Michigan fans, but mostly, I wanted them to win it all for THEMSELVES.
