M baseball loses 5-1 to USD

The offense could not get anything going against Jim Harbaugh's former employer, managing just three hits and two walks. Starting pitcher Alec Rennard threw a decent game, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk in six innings. The one negative was that he threw three wild pitches. Next up tomorrow: the Arizona Wildcats.

B1G schedule is ridiculously easy.

No Nebraska, OSU or Indiana who is the only ranked B1G team. Have 2 of 3 games against MSU at home in early March and Maryland series is at home.

A loss to a West coast team isn't anything to be ashamed of. Especially in the second week of the season. Michigan is 8-13 all-time against teams from the WCC, including 4-6 against San Diego.

The record against the Pac-12 is very horrifying. 37-94-1.
