M Baseball beats Iowa 12 -9

Michigan baseball just took their seventh win in a row today by beating Iowa 12-9 on the road in Iowa City. Jaskie gets the win and Tribucher the save though he made it interesting in the 9th (let up two runs then left men on second and first but got the winning run out to end the game). They'll go for the sweep tomorrow.

One small correction--Tribucher did not get the save; he was lifted for Bryan Pall with 2 outs and the bases loaded.  I think Pall should have received credit for a save (he came in with the tying run on deck), but the box score doesn't give anybody a save.

Also, Minnesota beat Northwestern easily to keep pace with Michigan and remain in a first-place tie (although Minnesota does have the tiebreaker).

Getting out to big leads and letting them shrink is a little concerning. This is the second time in as many days that this has happened. I guess it's just the team learning how to take the next step and have a target on their back.

How big have Ramsey, Wenson and Lugbauer been lately? My goodness.
