Michigan grad Cliff Josephy is playing in the final three at the World Series of Poker Final table -- airing live now on ESPN. He just doubled up twice to remain alive and is wearing a Block M on his T-shirt. Tune in and root him on.

Joe Cada, a Michigan fan from the Detroit suburbs won the Main Event six years ago. Ryan Riess, a MSU grad, won it three years ago. Cliff is an actual alum, living in New York. We need to outdo Sparty.

Went and watched the 2010 wsop main event featured table for a day and talked to Joe briefly at a break . Was very nice . His family was excited when they saw my Michigan cap .

Indeed. A guaranteed cooler. Although the experts claim he could have folded rather than callling the all-in bet. I guarantee, however, none of them would have folded that hand at that point.

I play locally here in south florida, was in a satty for a big tourney, in the big blind with q8, 3 players, flopped a full house, 8's over q, he rivered a q giving him q's over 8's. If thereI wasnt a river card id be a millionare 10 times over. And btw when will poker stars open back up for Americans already, lol. Loved online poker, poker stars sunday million was my favorite tourney.f the DOJ. What really pisses me off is fantasy football is allowed but not poker.

To be honest I was rooting for Vayo, Ruane or one of the younger kids to win it. Had nothing against Josephy but hes been rich for decades and is known for backing (paying entry fees) for professional players for years. Spread that money around to the young guns I say.
