Locker Room Tour Question

Submitted by wolverine1987 on
I'm taking my daughter to the scrimmage tomorrow and thought we'd start out with the locker room tour, followed by a Schembechler Hall visit (we'll likely skip the flag football game) and a quick tour of campus, then the game. Then major beers of course, followed by her calling us a cab, though since she's 8 that will be dicey, and someone bailing me out of jail. But seriously, do you guys think showing up by 9 will be time enough to make it into the locker room? She is totally excited to go, but since she's 8 I have to also kind of plan the total amount of time for the day, since we're traveling to AA. You know, the earlier we get there, the earlier she may want to go home, waiting in line is boring, blah blah. I don't want either of us to miss it.

Does anyone know where the locker room entrance is? The schedule says that gates open at 9:30, so it must be outside of the gates, but I have no clue where to go. FWIW, I was planning on getting there at 8:45-9. I can't imagine it is a 2-hour tour.

Ive gone in through the Junge center in the past so I think thats where they will let you guys in. It might be called just Junge center or Junge Family Champions Center. Its a pretty cool expirience. We went there during the evening when some of the lights were on and that just amazing.

This would be my guess as well. The Junge Center is between the stadium and Crisler built into the ground. I have entered the locker room through their. So I would try to park in the Crisler parking lot and walk towards the tunnel which is next to the Junge Center and I'm sure there will be signs or someone that can direct you.

9 should be plenty of time. Being a father of a girl, I am not saying anything here you already don't know; thowing it out there anyway. I have several movies loaded on my ipod which my girls get to watch whenever we go somewhere that may require a wait. Another idea is to take a friend of her's to keep them occupied.

side by Crisler Arena. The tunnel goes to the locker rooms. It's a t ground level so the gates to the stadium don't have to open to get to the locker rooms. That's where I'm going to start.

Well, getting there at 9 you should have a chance. But, always aim for earlier. If you LEAVE at 9, probably won't make it.
