Lifetime Fan! First time Visitor! GO BLUE!

To sum it up-I've never been to the Big House, I want to go to the Big House, so I'm going to the Big House! I've been holding down the fort in West Virginia, oh, the hate and voodoo is real! Well, some buddies and I are ready to help ruin our voice boxes ushering in the new era! I need the advice of people who are familiar with Ann Arbor, and Game Day situations. We will be hauling a 42' camper that we'd like to park as close to the tailgate hooplah as possible, for the September 12 Notre Dame game. I leave it to you, experienced "game-dayers" to give a moron (until otherwise in-experienced game-day trainable) direction. We want the party, and the game atmosphere. GO BLUE and thanks!

Let's just hope yours turns out better than mine (App State, anyone?) If you're looking for gameday atmosphere, I have to recommend the drumline step show (about 90 min before kickoff) and then you can walk with/behind the band to the stadium. If you're busy tailgating/pregaming, at least make sure you're in your seats by the time the band takes the field. If you're looking to lose your voices, you'd probably feel at home in the student section. There's always kids scalping tickets, though Notre Dame may be a bit pricier. Otherwise you'll end up annoying some blue-hairs, which I'd be ok with. The ND game ought to be a blast. You never forget your first one. Have fun and Go Blue!

if your going for tailgating experience its hard to beat the golf course imo if you have the 20 or 40 bucks. If your looking for something cheaper theres always frat houses that open their yards to parking

we are looking for. Only information I've found about the golf course says you can't park an RV there. So seeing as how we are pulling up a 42' RV, we'll need a place to put it. Just looking for the closest place to the tailgate experience that we can park the thing. Frat lawn is good if it's roughly 50' long (turn radius)!

There are two spots that i know for sure you can have an RV. Pioneer is a place where you can park and it is across from the stadium and i have no ideas about pricing. There is also a cheaper area near the CVS pharmacy on south industrial where I have seen many rv's parked there. Hope that helps

I would agree w/ what everyone has said. Park at Pioneer. There will be plenty of RV's, you will be very close to the stadium, the party starts early and goes all the way until gametime. There is the Victor's walk in the morning where the coaches and players walk into the tunnel. Never been but it might be worth checking out. Depending on what you like to do, I would party it up until 11 or so then head into the game to see the end of warmups, band pregame show and the players run out of the tunnel. Go Blue and enjoy!
