Johnny Manziel in Canada: video of Pre-Season Game Action
Some video highlights of Johnny Manziel in 2 pre-seaon games in Canada with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Honestly, considering it's Canada, it's pre-season, and he hasn't played in almost 3 years, it looks pretty good. He's only 25. So does he have time to get back to the NFL? I think he does. Could it be next year?
15:09 video of his first game with Hamilton. A couple plays sparked some memories of how great he was to watch in college: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuMI9KXFWt4

Some college highlights:
The game that made him a college football household name, the upset of Alabama, AT Alabama, as a redshirt freshman. Enjoyable to watch. 12:12 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ud89TwCQL0
His last game with Texas A&M, the huge offensive night in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. 10:15 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bdnTX0hKno

Perhaps he has a good season, ends up loving Canada and goes the Doug Flutie route and plays several seasons in the CFL.
So many good people in sports to follow..Manziel isn't one of them
Johnny's mother aka SkyPanther, Welcome to the board.
Do you have any sports content to comment?
What you are doing now is trolling.
Trying to figure out why I should care about him/his career and I just can't find any good reasons.
Wow OP, looks like you have a lot of time on your hands. This is a lot for a guy who is a back up qb in the CFL.
You don't have to.
You could have just moved on. You didn't need to spend your time here. Why did you click on this post and comment?
Not trying to be rude at all, but this seems to be a bit much. Why should any fans care about what a spoiled and overrated quarterback (who blames his failures and misfortunes on being "bipolar" and who doesn't own up to his alcoholism) does in his career?
If you have heard any interviews with him over that last year or so, he's admitted to partying too much and hanging with the wrong crowd. His path to getting clean and sober and staying that way, while trying to make it back to the NFL is what is interesting about this story. Not to mention he was one of the most exciting college football players ever and I would love to see him playing on Sundays again. He and Deshaun Watson would make every game they play in more interesting.
Also, there's nothing like a late CFL game to tide you over at night after the Tigers game is over.
You hit all the points I was thinking of when I posted this.
And I agree with you, it looks like he means it. He saw he was wasting his life. And he wants to head in the complete opposite direction of that wasted life. He could be back in the NFL in 2019. He looks dedicated. Some of his passes where cool.
No one cares but skypanther thinks everything he sees on Twitter is worth posting.
I rarely get things from twitter. You don't have to read things I post. Just move on to other things. I stick to sports. It seems most of what's posted on this board is not sports. there's plenty to look at that I don't post. Spend your time there.
I really hate to throw shade on someone who has taken a lot of steps to improve themselves after such a meteoric fall but it's gonna be hard pass on Manziel, dawg...
The problem I think he's going to find himself in is every year he isn't in the NFL, his competition is growing. He's still young and I'm sure he could make a practice squad or maybe even get on the backup rotation somewhere but I just don't see him ever making it as a starter in the NFL. If the CFL works for him now, stay there and make a name for yourself. At least for a while.
Are you trying to fill some kind of posting quota? Holy shit.
