Joey Baker profile

When Joey Baker transferred I thought that he might fill the role of a guy who hits 2-3 three pointers a game and provides a spark off the bench. It's been a bit up and down for him, but lately he's been on the upswing, hitting double digits 2x this month and playing better defense against Rutgers. Anyway, I thought I'd share this profile, which is worth a glance for Tarris Reed's Baker nickname Baker ("Wise Owl") alone.

I like Baker's game. I respect his aggressive mentality.  He has probably the quickest trigger I can remember. He's got a nice looking stroke , and hopefully it's starting to heat up at the right time!

Does he have another covid year if he wants to come back? Looks like he played four games for duke his freshman year. Not sure if that counts as a redshirt or not

They honored him on Senior Day, so it's pretty safe that he's not coming back and doesn't have eligibility.

JL could be back and I think Michigan would be smart to keep him for depth purposes and in case Kobe declares early for the draft. Having Kobe back would bolster the G depth with GW3 not having to come in to play a big role as a freshman next season.

JL? GW3?

For those who've forgotten who "JL" is, he's graduate student and point guard Jaelin Llewellyn who played eight games for Michigan this season before suffering a season-ending injury. He graduated from Princeton and transferred to Michigan to play his "COVID-19 year" while working on a Masters degree in Social Work.

For those who've got no idea who "GW3" is, he's George Washington III, a 6-2 guard from Dayton, Ohio who has committed to play for Michigan next season.
