I love Mason Graham getting the Woodley-Graham award because I so badly want them to be related, but also love that Graham and Grant shared it. That's perfect. The future of our D-line right there. They're already legends and they just started.

Jim Brandstatter received the Gerald Ford Lifetime Impact Award.

He gave an impassioned speech about the current generation of players going back to study and remember the history of great players and coaches in Michigan football, stating names like Harmon, Oosterbaan, Crisler and even more modern like Simpkins & Carter not being known by the next generation of recruits.

Important message about reverence for the past.

Go Blue.

Thanks, OP.

I usually find the Scout Team awards most interesting. I haven't paid close enough attention to know if they're predictors of future success for younger players (like Moore). I'd expect a positive correlation.

Does anyone know who votes on these awards?

I'm not being "smart aleky" - it's more curiosity.   Is it the coaches?  Coaches and Staff?  Players?   All of the above?

Regardless of who votes - I would cast a vote for "Team 144" - they have demonstrated everything a fan could want / hope for.  Great effort.  Determination.  Character.  Support.  Learning.  Teamwork.  Etc.    And, delivered exceptional results.

My thanks to every player player on the roster.   As a lifelong fan - it's been a pleasure watching you take the field.

Go Blue!
