He was out vs ECU & UNLV, doubtful for BG on the injury reports. Was not on it for Rutger, Neb, or Minn.

I would expect he did not travel to Neb or Minn, probably still injured.

He could use a redshirt after burning last years.

I’ve seen it mentioned/hinted at other places that there is an (unnamed) LB that is hurt and preserving a redshirt for this year- assuming it’s Rolder? He played a ton of meaningful snaps last year and it would make sense that if he’s hurt he’s sitting out. Based on what we saw as a true freshman, I’d expect him to start next year or be heavily involved.

If he redshirts I hope he has a couple of games he can play against OSU and whatever comes after.

With my understanding that bowls don't count towards the 4 you can play, he could play from PSU on and still redshirt.

I just read Cat's Cradle and Slapstick. Starting Galapagos. (Slaughterhouse 5, Breakfast of Champions and Mother Night are favorites from back in the day.)

It’s been mentioned that with three viable linebackers this year, and Hood emerging as a capable 4th, that it would be beneficial for Rolder to get a redshirt and that was the likely plan.

He's going to redshirt. He's been banged up.
Jaydon Hood had caught him on the depth chart anyway and with Hausmann, there wasn't much PT to be had.
