Points of interest for me
-There will be less RAWK music and more marching band.
-Harbaugh is making the team wear black shoes.
-A decision on Adidas will be made by the end of this year.
-Believes that game day experience should be different than a pro stadium.
-Harbaugh will have a lot of input on alternate uni's.
Is doing an awesome job of cleaning up the 3-mile Island disaster that Brandon left. I hope he stays on for a while and they remove the interim tag.
seems a bit too giddily eager to please. Especially the "are we all in love with Jimmy" comments. You want a little cool distance for when times are a bit tougher, when the honeymoon is over. The herd can trample as it stampedes in one direction as easily as in the other. Cool thinking and reason will not be the reasons for the stampede.

Yep, less RAWK music and more Michigan Marching Band. In the late 70s we also had the 'shit' band (I was told they were called the shit band because people would throw shit, well, stuff at them) that would play to each section after half time. I was at the App State game last year and did see a small group playing between sections, but they never got near our section and I never heard the Rocky and Bullwinkle theme once.
It's called stadium band and they still do that. They also occasionally play Rocky and Bullwinkle but it's usually toward the end of the year when the newer members have a better handle on it. Remember, it's a pretty small band composed of some newer members so they tend to stick with the traditionals that have been rehearsed over and over.
The 'stadium band' back in '79 was composed of upper classmen (classpersons, I guess now) who were really good musicians.
