Janurary 9: Scout
Scout has a GoBlue Wolverine link discussing a "big" January 9 recruiting weekend.
"The January 9th weekend may end up as big as 11 visitors - but one Biggie Name has moved from "possible" to "scheduled."
Anyone know the details on this?

The guy in the picture is Barkevious Mingo, a 6-5 209 pound outside linebacker from Louisiana. That's all I know.

I don't have a Scout account, but I know Denard Robinson is coming on January 9th.

The recruits that I know that are being reported are: Denard Robinson, Sam Montgomery, Henry Conway, he is a OT from Cleveland, Jeron Stokes the Tennesse commit, Barkevius Mingo, Mike Edwards and Demontre Hurst...And Jelani Jenkins has set up a visit for the 23rd of January. I think that is all...Anyway this info is per recruiting roundup...hopefully I remembered it correctly...If not I do apologize.

to hear that Jenkins scheduled a visit, even if it is a late one. It's just that I haven't heard anything bad about him as a person or football player. He's got a high GPA (4.0... I believe weighted, but that's still impressive), has what seems like a loving and smart family (for me that's a big plus), is highly rated, and his recruiting video gives me chills.
I'm just glad he's showing up, because I trust RichRod to bust out the snake oil and show him what the University has to offer, and that we need him more than any other school he's considering.

I agree about Jenkins. Sam Webb pretty much said that we are out of it this morning so I was a little ticked but as long as we get him on campus I won't pencil him off.
