Jake Ryan records 6 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFL tonight

Thread title says it all. Very solid performance by the young man. He was second on the team with his 6 tackles. The leader had 8. Hopefully a sign of things to come for him. And before you ask, yes, Jake Ryan deserves his own thread.

Jake is one of the best people I've met among Michigan athletes.

One night, maybe in the next day or three after Lewan knocked out the Buckeye fan, hell it might have been later the same night, I saw Jake and another player who I didn't know that had just graduated after taking a medical, and they had just been at the bar and some guy wanted to prove how tough he was with the football players and punched Jake's teammate in the face but they just walked away because they didn't want everything that comes with being who they are and getting in a public fight. Jake said that kind of thing happened all the time but he had to just be cool about it & not take the bait no matter what he really wanted to do.

Now there's a guy out drinkin' but still thinkin' & making good "decions."

Wish I could've seen him last night.
