It's Back - Hoover Turf Tailgate for Cancer Support Community Ann Arbor

I have not seen this mentioned previously on the board but if so, MOMS delete.
The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor (after a 3 year absence) is back hosting a tailgate at 327 East Hoover. This is about 100 yards West and across the road from Revelli Hall on your way to the stadium.
From their email:
Hoover Turf Tailgate will be held on every 2022 University of Michigan home football game day at Stadium Club, Ann Arbor (327 East Hoover). The comfortable, family-friendly garden atmosphere is just 450 feet from the stadium. The event is open to the public, free to enter, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for $6. All proceeds from alcohol purchases go directly to the Cancer Support Community and the Sprout Love Financial Assistance Fund. A selection of canned beer, cider, seltzer, and pre-mixed cocktails will be available for purchase.
The tailgate also features restrooms, game feeds, seating, and yard games. Food and nonalcoholic purchases will be available from Slow’s BBQ and Zingerman’s Creamery & Coffee.
Like many on the board, I have had people close to me significantly impacted by cancer. This tailgate offers a good opportunity to support a worthy cause and a great spot to wait for the band to follow into the stadium. Over the years I have met many great people at this tailgate and am glad they are returning. It does, indeed, seem that we can have nice things.

327 E. Hoover? I designed their electric service when they redid the location last year. I wondered what was going on here. Now I know, I guess.

This is great news. I always enjoyed stopping over there to eat and catch part of the early games for late kicks. Pumped it’s back!
