Jesse Minter coached well, IMO.
Didn't stubbornly run into a wall for 3 quarters and then open it up trying to put away an inferior team.
Felt like all business. For his first outing, it made perfect sense for him to play it safe on that first series, take the low-risk runs + punt rather than giving ECU any early momentum.
He gave JJ lots of opportunities to shine based on the loaded box, and JJ showed some improvement in mechanics and accuracy, as well as pocket awareness.
The end was a little boring, sure, but no need to take risks when you have the game well within your control.
Congrats to Jesse on 1-0. I got my eye on him for next up if Jim follows the NFL/Browns rumors.

But do you think Minter was given authority on offensive playcalling? I would imagine it was already scripted, and or in comminque with Jim and Sherrone. Surely he had full defensive control.
And when Moore coaches, I doubt he will have authority over the defense.

I'm glad Minter is 1-0. Every team has a gameplan and many games force you to adjust. I don't think Minter is incapable of making adjustments, or coaching for that matter.

I would be utterly shocked if Harbaugh/Moore were in communication with the team/coaches during the game. Harbaugh may be pissed about the suspension but he doesn’t strike me as someone to knowingly break rules once he’s agreed to things

Yes, but he's also made it pretty clear how he feels about the NCAA and their arbitrary / unjust rules. So it would not shock me if he was talking to the coaches on the field.

Damn, the season haven't started yet and JH has a rumored NFL team he going too

Pretty sure Minter was only responsible for one offensive play all game: the decision to go on 4th down after three straight runs into stacked lines (and one not-quite-TD mulligan). All the pros you note go to Moore and Campbell.

"All the pros you note go to Moore and Campbell."
You're giving alot of credit to a Freshman receiver for play calling duties. He's no Michael Barrett

Does Harbaugh get credit for the win?

"Does Harbaugh get credit for the win?"
Pretty sure this has been covered elsewhere. The U gets to decide, and they have decided the win goes to Minter.

Yeah, that's what they said on the broadcast.

No doubt this was Harbaugh's call given his support for them as potential head coaches.

How could he? It goes to Minter. But the 3rd game I wonder how they credit the game to.
