Great pre-draft story from 2021 was reposted on ESPN+ today about Kwity Paye and his amazing journey from Guinea to the NFL. We should all be proud of this Michigan Man!

Have seen that story numerous times and dang if it still doesn't get dusty in here each time I see it.

Thanks so much for posting your OP and the link to the ESPN article about Kwity & his family and the ordeals they have faced in their lifetimes; ordeals far more difficult than anything 99.9% of us likely have or will face in our days on this earth. No matter where Kwity's football and post-football career takes him, I'll always be rooting for his success.

Some quotes from an NFL Network video on youtube, "Liberia’s Civil War to the NFL: Kwity Paye’s Life Saving Journey":
Kwity Paye:
"Growing up I used to pray to God, and just ask him 'help me and take my family out of this struggle.' And then I started to realize that nobody's going to save you. So my prayers quickly changed from that to, 'God just watch over me and I'm go get it. I'm going to be that dog.'"
Agnes Paye, Kwity's mother, about the promise he made to her on signing day ("One day, she'll never have to lift a finger again"):
"It was wonderful. I gave him a big hug. Said you did it. You stick up to your promise. Don't stop that. Keep going. Keep going."
