I was looking at OSU's 2008 depth chart and came accross an interesting name . .

buried at #3 strong safety: Jamario O'Neal. He barely played for them. Now I remember that we wanted him bad, but for one reason or another (due to the Cleavland Glenville Ted Ginn Sr. "thing"?), we were never really in it. 1) Anyone know a reason other than not as good as OSU's other guys (Coleman) that kept him off the field at OSU? 2) Anyone know the reason that kept Pierre Woods off the field at UM? I thought he generally was a fine player. From what I gather, this is ground 0 for the Cleavland Glenville Ted Ginn Sr. "thing". Can we say Pierre Woods = Jamario O'Neal? We have been hurting at safety for so long, I got to believe O'Neal would have played meaningfull minutes if he chose UM instead.

O'Neal being shown the dawg house. Him and Eugene Clifford didn't pan out worth a damm! On another note...TGsr's players, who have gone to tuos, haven't lit up the world of late. Perhaps that can be R2 opening...who knows?

Evidently Woods was in Lloyds dog house for the latter part of his college career. Evidently he was the responsable party who laid a hit on Matt Gutierez (spelling) in practice that caused us to have to start Henne as a Freshman. Once you got in Lloyds dog house it was hard to get out.....but the Pats love Woods.

http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/598711-post25.html UNIONFUTURA seems to know something: "There's a MAJOR reason why Woods didn't play much after the 04 rose bowl. And it had nothing to do with on the field play. Can't hate Carr for that." If there was an off-field problem, which I regard as private, then Woods's benching is justified and we are back to the question of what was is that caused the Glenville issue in the first place?.
